The Bedford OY was introduced in 1939 for the military and comprised a long wheelbase truck. Its PB 795 fleet number features on the cab doors while the tanker sides carry the warning Petroleum Spirit Highly Inflammable. Its POOL status is also printed above the cab's split window.
